Replays

Every ranked match and lobby map is recorded, for all players in map, automatically.

Watching

From the journal, open a match and pick a replay.

Lobby matches are not listed in recent matches. Only in the matches tab.

While watching:

• Playback controls like seeking, frame by frame, speed and so on
• Room picker to jump to any room in the run
• Practice from here to just actually play that room (hitboxes, info panel and debug map allowed here)
• Ghosts can be toggled off and pov can be switched

Use cursor or keybinds

There are more options for ghosts (like offset, time relative or room relative) via the ghost panel. Check the keybinds to make the most out the replay viewer.

How long they're kept

Replays live on the server for a limited time (currently 14 days) and are then deleted. Match results and times are kept forever, it's only the replay file that expires.

Replays you've downloaded stay on your machine in the Replays folder in your game directory, and aren't touched by the server side cleanup. And you can access them easily (even offline) in the Saved Replays page in journal. You can download anyone replays, not just yours and keep it.

Recording limits

A recording stops after one hour.
